Lifetime Replacement Coverage
Lifetime Replacement Coverage is an optional add-on available for select personalized plates. When purchased, this coverage allows you to request a replacement of your original plate if it becomes damaged at any point during its lifetime.
What’s Covered
- One replacement of the original personalized plate
- Same size, material, finish, and engraving as originally ordered
- Applies only to the original purchaser
What’s Not Covered
- Design changes, text changes, or resizing
- Normal cosmetic wear such as patina, or finish changes over time
- Intentional damage, misuse, or modification of the plate
- Shipping costs for replacement plates
How to Request a Replacement
To submit a replacement request, email Orders@MakerPlates.com and include:
- Your original order number (or name and email used at checkout)
- A photo of the damaged plate
- Your current shipping address
Once approved, we’ll remake your plate and notify you when it’s ready to ship.
Important Notes
- Coverage is limited to one replacement per plate
- Replacement plates are produced using the same specifications as the original order
- Lifetime Replacement Coverage must be purchased at the time of the original order and cannot be added later
This coverage is separate from the Maker Plates Guarantee, which protects against defects, errors, or damage on arrival.
